Unsurpassed in archery, Arjun was one of the best known heroes of Indian mythology. He was the third of the Pandav brothers, and was born to King Pandu and Queen Kunti through the blessings of Indra, the king of Gods. He was a dear friend of Krishn, and Krishn's wartime advice to him is immortalised in the Bhagavad Gita. Arjun was a great human being, a dutiful son, a loyal brother, a great warrior, a devout husband and a sincere devotee of God.
