Summary, etc. This volume describes the structure, chemistry, optical and physical properties, distinguishing features and paragenesis of the minerals of the kaolin, mica and smectite groups, as well as vermiculite, palygorskite, sepiolite, mixed-layer and interlayered clay minerals.
